These stunning vintage Art Nouveau clip earrings with omega friction clips are a rare find. Faux pearl blooms or berries are suspended from gold tone stems passing through a ring with pink, green, blue, and clear rhinestone accents.
Although the earrings show signs of wear appropriate for their age, all original stones are present and only one rhinestone has darkened (see photos). The fronts of both earrings look good, but there is significant wear to the gold plating on the backs. Fair condition, considering both the notable wear and the good cosmetic condition on the front. Please see all photos for details of condition.
These are an early example of friction clips, in an unusual design that will be a great addition to the collection of any vintage jewelry lover. Late 1940s to early 1950s. 1.25" x 0.625"
